The Tuzgle volcano (5544 m.).
It is located within the Argentine highlands, between the border of the provinces of Salta and Jujuy. To access this volcano we made a spectacular tour through the Quebrada de Humahuaca and Puna de Atacama. This mountain is suitable for those who want to start walking in the world of mountaineering. The program is not technically complex, that is, we do not do technical climbing, only an Ascent Trekking. We invite you to live a different and unique adventure, through the solitude of the highlands of the Puna de Atacama.
Day 1: Jujuy / Trek! Cerro Negro 3,600mts. /Tilcara:
Transfer of 2 hours and trekking of 5 hours at a height of 3,350 meters.
Night at Tilcara hotel. 2,450mts. (BXL)
Day 2: Tilcara / Trek C. Morado / San Antonio de los Cobres:
Transfer 3 hours Trekking reaching a height of 4,550mts. 4 hours, Salinas Grandes.
Night at San Antonio de los Cobres hotel at 3,750mts (BXL;)
Day 3: Trek to the San Gerónimo Volcano 4,950mts:
3rd acclimatization trekking, to the San Gerónimo volcano 4950mts. That it will take us about 3 hours of ascent.

Day 4: Attack on the Volcano Summit:
Trekking and ascent to the Tuzgle Volcano summit, train to the Clouds and transfer in 4×4 to Tilcara or S.S de Jujuy, hours approx. 8:00 p.m. (BXL:)

Notes: 1 or 2 more days should be foreseen either for weather reasons or necessary for acclimatization.
The Role of the Guides:
The work of the Guides involves leading the group and supervising the needs of each of the clients, permanently ensuring safety and trying to maximize the chances of succeeding in the Expedition. They will also be in charge of deciding, or modifying the itinerary or suspend any activity due to weather or any other cause, justifying in favor of the safety of the members of the group.
